GENERAL INFORMATION

Child Age Range 12 months to 5 years
Class Size No more than 22 during any session
Staff:Pupil Ratio 1:4 to 1:8 depending on age
School Programme Three terms each of 11 to 14 weeks

Non-Funded and Funded School Hours

Monday to Friday Two sessions per day, am and pm
Non-Funded Sessions 09:00 to 15:30
Funded Morning Session 09:30 to 12:30
Funded Afternoon Session 12:30 to 15:30
Funded Full Day Session 09:30 to 15:30
Breakfast Club 08:00 to 09:00
After School Club 15:30 to 17:30

Please note: Parents are required to enrol their children for a minimum of 3 sessions per week, e.g. 3 afternoons, 3 mornings, or a combination of am and pm sessions. Although every effort is made to allocate the days required, the days and sessions offered may vary depending on the vacancies available.


For Funded sessions, we offer a flexible chargeable option for an earlier start at 9am.

Lunch Time


All children are asked to bring a break time snack such as a piece of fruit. Children attending full day classes should be provided with a nutritious packed lunch. Milk and water are provided by the school.



Absenteeism


Please contact the school as soon as is possible if your child is unable to attend.

Children should NOT ATTEND school if they have a cold or infection which may be transmitted to other children.



Clothing and Articles Required


1. Soft soled shoes for indoor activities (no laces please.)

2. Wellington boots. These are kept at school during term time.

3. A set of spare clothes appropriate for the current term's weather.

4. A school t-shirt and sweatshirt (which can be purchased at school).

5. A bag suitable for the children's work.

IMPORTANT - Notice of Withdrawal - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY


It is necessary to give ONE FULL TERM'S notice of withdrawal in writing or else ONE FULL TERM'S FEES WILL BE CHARGED in lieu of notice.


Please note that the school is VERY strict about this and there are NO EXCEPTIONS, so please ensure that you give the required one full term's notice - Thank You.


OFSTED INSPECTION


The school is inspected by OFSTED to ensure the school meets the National Standards for childcare - these include assessments of fire risk, classroom safety etc.


There is also a Nursery Education inspection conducted by OFSTED to determine the quality of education and assess the school's suitability for 'Nursery Grant Status'.
